Toodyay Community Resource Centre helps local people access technology, information, training and opportunities to connect.
Established in 1998 as the Toodyay Telecentre, the CRC now operates from Toodyay Community Centre at 67 Stirling Terrace. It supports residents, community groups and businesses through practical services, workshops and community activities.
Programs and community services
Technology and everyday assistance
The CRC provides public computers and internet access, alongside services that help people complete everyday tasks.
These include printing, photocopying, laminating, binding, photo restoration and secretarial services. Video conferencing facilities are also available.

Access to government information
The centre provides access to government information, a Centrelink computer, telephone and fax facilities.
These resources give residents a local place to connect with government services and complete online tasks.
Learning and confidence online
The CRC coordinates training and activities that help people develop skills and feel more comfortable using technology.
Its advertised Get Online Week 2026 activities included Tea & Tech Bingo, combining technology activities, practical advice, bingo and lunch at Toodyay Library. The event brought learning together with opportunities to socialise and ask questions.

School-holiday activities
The CRC’s school-holiday programs give children opportunities to create, learn and spend time together.
Its October 2026 program advertised:
- A Halloween-themed stop-motion animation workshop.
- A make-your-own-pizza and movie day.
- A music, dance and culture workshop with Ngarn Moort Cultural Services.

Spaces for meetings and community activities
Office and conference rooms are available for short-term hire.
The CRC’s conference facilities can accommodate meetings, workshops, training and community gatherings. Conference Room 2 includes Wi-Fi, a whiteboard, digital projector, heating, air conditioning and accessible amenities. It can also combine with the adjoining conference room for larger activities.

To offer a donation, sponsorship, equipment, materials or services for a CRC activity, contact the team directly.
As the CRC is a Shire service, the team can explain which contributions can be accepted and arrange the appropriate payment or delivery process.

WAssup’s connection with Toodyay
Toodyay Community Resource Centre is confirmed for a future WAssup speaker-and-microphone kit.
The centre will store and manage the equipment for local use. Portable sound and two wireless microphones can support youth activities, workshops, community gatherings and events.
