Nannup Community Resource Centre is owned and managed by the local community. It brings together practical assistance, technology, learning opportunities and activities that help people participate in community life.

Programs and community services

Youth Zone

Nannup CRC works with the Shire of Nannup to provide Youth Zone, a welcoming space where local young people can socialise, develop skills and try new activities.

The program’s 2026 activities have included games, basketball, cooking and a photography project using disposable film cameras. These activities give young people opportunities to create, build confidence and connect with others.

Contact the CRC for current sessions and participation details.

Technology and everyday assistance

The centre provides computers, internet access and help using phones, laptops and other devices. Its Be Connected service offers individual technology assistance for older residents.

As a Services Australia Access Point, the CRC provides facilities people can use to access government services. It also hosts visiting advocacy and support services, including financial counselling and carers’ advice.

Printing, scanning, binding, photo printing, graphic design and document assistance are available, with charges applying to some services.

Staying in Place

Staying in Place helps older people remain in their own homes and connected to the Nannup community as their support needs change.

Support can include domestic assistance, home maintenance, meals, transport and social connection. The program also creates opportunities for local people to work in aged care and community support.

The CRC team can explain current eligibility, available services and how to get started.

Volunteering and community participation

Through Nannup Volunteers, the centre connects people with opportunities suited to their interests, skills and availability.

It also helps community groups recruit and support volunteers, provides training and networking opportunities, and organises activities recognising local volunteers’ contributions.

People interested in volunteering, and organisations looking for volunteers, can contact the centre for assistance.

Transport, meeting spaces and local information

The CRC administers the Nannup Community Bus, including a fortnightly return service between Nannup and Busselton. The bus is also available for private and community group hire. Contact the centre for bookings, fares and current arrangements.

A conference room with video conferencing facilities is available for meetings, workshops and training. The centre also provides visitor information and a self-service Book Nook book exchange.

The CRC produces the Nannup Telegraph, helping residents stay informed about local news, services and activities. Editions can be accessed through the centre’s website.

To make a financial contribution, discuss sponsorship or offer useful goods or services, contact the centre directly. The team can explain current priorities and provide the appropriate payment or delivery details.
