Programs and community services
Children’s creativity and connection
Kids Create offers primary school-aged children opportunities to explore arts and crafts, try activities and spend time with other children. The centre advertised a free, limited-place program for Term 3 of 2026.
Families should contact the CRC for upcoming sessions, registration requirements and any fees.
Digital access and practical help
The CRC provides free public computers and Wi-Fi, alongside help with technology and everyday administrative tasks. Services include printing, copying, scanning, laminating and photo printing.
People can use the facilities to access government information, prepare documents, search for work or complete online tasks. The centre also offers bookable meeting spaces, video conferencing and kitchen facilities. Charges apply to some services and bookings.
Learning and online confidence
The centre’s Tech Hub sessions help residents explore technology and improve their confidence online. Its 2026 activities have included Google Earth and romance-scam awareness sessions.
The CRC also advertises practical training opportunities, including first aid and barista training. Availability varies, so check the current program with the team.
Staying connected as support needs change
Through Mullewa Staying in Place, the centre shares information about remaining at home and connected to community as care and support needs increase.
Activities advertised in 2026 included information sessions, chair yoga, morning teas and elder-abuse awareness activities. Contact the team to discuss current support and activities at stayinginplace@mullewacrc.net.au.
Local stories and community information
The Mullewa Memories: Past to Podcast project invited local people to record conversations about their lives and memories of the town. The project was designed to produce short online episodes and a community screening, helping preserve local stories for future generations.
The CRC also publishes What’s On in Mullewa and a community newsletter, sharing local activities, services and opportunities. It provides a home for the Mullewa Visitor Centre and supports visitor information and wildflower-related activities.
