Programs and activities
Library, Storytime and Toy Library
Beverley Library offers books, digital resources and a welcoming place to read and learn. Membership is free for Beverley residents, with proof of residency required.
Beverley Early Years Group’s Storytime and Toy Library brings families together for free sessions featuring stories, songs and activities. Check the Beverley Bulletin for upcoming dates.
Educational iPads are also available for use inside the library.
Workshops and skills
The CRC offers creative and practical workshops. Its 2026 program has included clay handbuilding, stained-glass copper foiling, Canva design and wood whittling. Contact the team for upcoming courses, prices and bookings.
The CRC also supports local employment through traineeships. In October 2026, it was named a Regional Traineeship Program grant recipient for a Certificate IV in Marketing and Communication traineeship.
Social activities and community news
Monthly bingo at the Cornerstone combines games, afternoon tea and time to socialise. Dates and details are advertised through the CRC.
The weekly Beverley Bulletin shares community notices, events, employment opportunities and local advertising. Residents can subscribe to receive it by email. The CRC also produces the community directory.
Staying in Place
Through Staying in Place, the CRC works with InCasa Country to help older residents access support at home and coordinate care workers.
Support can include household tasks, personal care, meals, transport and social connection, depending on individual arrangements. Contact the care coordination team for current assessment pathways and available assistance.
Community garden
The volunteer-run Beverley Community Garden, beside the RSL Hall on Forrest Street, provides opportunities to garden, learn and meet others.
Activities include sustainable gardening workshops and children’s school-holiday sessions. Volunteers meet on Tuesday and Saturday mornings to maintain the garden and share a cuppa.
